Gus Redmond, Vice President

Gus Redmond, Partner is the Vice President of Music Quest Communications, Chicago, Il.  Redmond's' outstanding leadership and organizational skills has helped build the Music Quest Communications LLC network, and he runs the day to day sales, marketing and promotional activities.  Redmond has spent the last 40 years working with the "Who's Who" within the recording industry.  Gus is a renowned business manager, sales manager, songwriter and concert and event talent producer.

Redmond assisted in the success of over 500 hit songs working with Carl Davis-Brunswick/Chi-Sound, Al Bell-Staxx Records, John Hammond-Hammond Music, Ray Harris-AVI Records, Billy Ray Heard-Sparrow Records, and Don Cornelius-Soul Train Records, and the Cayre Brothers' - Salsoul Records. Sugar Hill Records, Sams Records and Tommy Boy Records. Some of his other promotional jobs include Danny Goldberg and Marlon McNichols' New Dawn Records, Lafayette Gatling's Thisit Records, Morris & Brenda Stewart -Copia Records, and many others.

 In 1999, Redmond began working with Marianne Eggleston at PPI Entertainment (Peter Pan Industries). Together with Dunn Pearson Jr., they assisted Donald Kasen, President and owner to build the independent audio and video distribution company which products reached sales 
well-over $25 million dollars.

 Redmond also dabbled in the creative side of the record business by co-writing such hits as "The Sly, Slick and the Wicked" by the Lost Generation and "Mellow Mellow Right On" by Lowrell Simon. The latter was the source for numerous raps and samples, most notable Massive Attack's "Lately," Markie Dee, and Chicago rapper Common “Remind Me Of Self”.  The song “ I WANT TO BE MELLOW ” is currently being
re-produced by songwriter, artist and producer, Bruce Hawes.

Redmond, oversees Music Quest's current national sales and marketing staff: Region 1 - New York, NY, Region 2 - Cleveland, OH, Region 3 - Chicago,  Il, Region 4 - Miami, FL,  Region 5 - Greenwood, Mississippi, Region 6 - Los Angeles, CA.  His excellent communication skills are essential, as he is also responsible with developing strategies for new business partnerships and affiliate programs to increase and expose the Music Quest® brand worldwide.
